Japheth comes out of the ark with his family. With Shem, he covers his father, and Noah prays: may God enlarge Japheth.

The families gather in Shinar. After the tower, the languages divide and they scatter.
3. Anatolia −2200 – −1900
The Torah does not say where Japheth himself went. His sons spread north and west to the coastlands, so the map places him in Anatolia, between them.
