Joshua was the successor of Moses and led Israel into the Promised Land. He directed the conquest of Canaan, including key victories like Jericho, and oversaw the division of the land among the tribes. He is portrayed as a faithful and obedient leader who consistently sought God’s guidance in major decisions.

Joshua remained committed to covenant faithfulness and famously challenged Israel to choose whom they would serve. His leadership marks the transition from wilderness wandering to settled nationhood.
