Jabin was a Canaanite king of Hazor mentioned in Judges 4, whose army, commanded by Sisera, oppressed the Israelites for twenty years during the time of Deborah and Barak.

According to the biblical account, his forces were defeated near the Kishon River, and Sisera was killed by Jael. An earlier king named Jabin also appears in Joshua 11, suggesting separate rulers or different traditions.

Ancient cuneiform texts from Hazor and Mari preserve names resembling Jabin, indicating that the name existed among Bronze Age rulers of Hazor. However, these discoveries do not establish the historical identity of the biblical Jabin.
